I am a Southern California native who has been living in the Bay Area since 2014. I started my curl journey during my freshman year of college at SFSU after years of straightening and generally mistreating my hair. After completing my degree in Psychology, I knew I wanted to have a career with an emphasis on self-care that involved helping others feel good about themselves and creating a more empathic world. I decided to pursue my creative dream of becoming a hairstylist because it aligns with my professional goals and satisfies my soul. Embracing my curls and learning how to take care of my hair has been the most liberating and affirming experience. I want to help as many people as I can on their very own curl journeys as they learn to appreciate their hair and give themselves grace.

My chair is a safe space for ALL. I love making meaningful connections with my guests and we’ll get along especially well if you’re into any of the following: music, skincare, fashion, food, makeup, anime, true crime podcasts, and RuPaul’s Drag Race.
